PROS / Yvette Shift Light Legging in Purple is one of the most comfortable leggings I've ever worn. The exceptionally soft fabric is lightweight, stretchy, breathable, fast dry and sweat wicking. The flat waistband stays put with movement and provides great coverage. Moreover, the legging sculpts the lower body very well.
CONS / The legging shows VPL (visible panty lines) due to the lightweight / thin fabric. Wearing a seamless underwear is a must. Just like most non-black plain leggings, it shows sweat stains, especially by the hip crease and sacrum areas.
BOTTOM LINE / I highly recommend Yvette Shift Light Legging to everyone who is looking for THE perfect yoga legging. It offers all performance needs as well as the comfortable and flattering fit. Most importantly, it is budget friendly. While there are so many things to like about this legging, it is prone to show panty lines and sweat stains.

PROS / Made with the buttery soft fabric, Peace-Lover High Waist Printed Yoga Legging in Snake is four-way stretch and sweat wicking. It is medium compression, which works for yoga and gym workouts. The legging creates a slim look and gives the bum a nice lift.
CONS / The front rise is a little bit too long for me. The elastic waistband digs into the skin and leaves indentation marks, which is common for an elasticized waistband.
BOTTOM LINE / Peace-Lover High Waist Printed Yoga Legging in Snake provides almost everything I need for working out. The ultra soft fabric is stretchy and moisture wicking. Other than the elastic band digging into my skin and showing the muffin top, the legging shapes the body curvatures well and lifts the butt nicely. For $59, it definitely worth every penny.

PROS / Made with the lightweight material, Moonchild 7/8 Seamless legging is four-way stretch, breathable and moisture wicking. The ultra high flat waistband keeps everything tucked in and provides tons of support and coverage.
CONS / The type of the fabric weave is prone to snags. Avoid contact with any rough or sharp object.
BOTTOM LINE / I love the performance and fit of Moonchild 7/8 Seamless Legging. The fabric is stretchy, breathable, and moisture wicking. The ultra high waistband stays put with movement and provides great coverage for the belly. The legging is completely opaque (unlike the Seamless Legging in Dandelion Yellow I reviewed last week) and it does not show the panty line. It works well for various activities from yoga to high impact workouts.

* The score applies to Moonchild Seamless Legging in Dandelion Yellow.
PROS / As advertised, Moonchild Seamless Legging is made with the ultra soft material that gives a second-skin feel. It is lightweight, breathable, four-way stretch and moisture wicking. The ultra high flat waistband keeps everything tucked in and provides tons of support and coverage.
CONS / Since the legging is relatively light in color, it does leave sweat spots. It is also see see-through when wearing a dark color panty. The type of the fabric weave is prone to snags.
BOTTOM LINE / I can't be happier with the performance and fit of Moonchild Seamless Legging. The second-skin feel fabric is soft, breathable, stretchy and moisture wicking. The ultra high waist stays put with movement and provides great coverage for the belly. Although the light weight fabric keeps me cool during the workout, it is prone to snags. I recommend to wear and wash the legging with caution (avoid in contact with any sharp or rough object).

I am going to share something slightly different to what I normally post today. Last week, Lululemon introduced New Curved Waistband for Always On High-Rise Tight 28". It makes me wonder if that is going to be the new trend after the high / ultra high waist leggings. Five years ago, high waist leggings became popular. Almost everyone I know loves the coverage and support they provide. I rarely see people wearing standard waist leggings in yoga world today. In fact, I am a big lover of high waist leggings.
I am definitely seeing more V-shaped Waistband or Curved Waistband leggings in the market these days. The first one that caught my attention is Beach Riot Cara Legging, which I believe was released last year (but I could be wrong). I thought that was just the style designed by Beach Riot. For that reason, I didn't put too much thought into it until I saw Lululemon brought the Curved Waistband to the market last week followed by Glyder. I did some research and found quite a few brands making similar style leggings. Since they are still new to me and I haven't had chance to test any out, I don't know if I am going to like them more than high waist leggings. That said, I still want to share what brands are making v-shaped / curved waistband leggings today.
Note: The following leggings are sorted by their prices (high to low).
Among these leggings, I am interested in Core 10 'Build You Own' Yoga Pant the most because I've never tried the brand. Moreover, it is highly rated and the price is right. If you own any of the leggings mentioned above, I'd love to hear from you.
