PROS / DYI Printed 7/8 Crop BW Stripe Mix is a versatile legging. It can be worn for high impact workouts as well as yoga including the heated class. The fabric is very stretchy yet providing enough compression for muscles support. It is lightweight and breathable. The flat waistband stays put and keeps everything tucked in.

CONS / Due to the light color of the legging, it can be see-through unless wearing a nude panty underneath. 

BOTTOM LINE / I can't be happier with the purchase of DYI Printed 7/8 Crop BW Stripe Mix. It covers all performance properties I need from studio / gym to street. Moreover, it provides a comfortable and flattering fit. Since it is a light color legging, wearing a nude underwear is a must to avoid see-through.

PROS / Beyond Yoga Olympus High Waisted Midi Legging is a sleek and high performance legging. The fabric is four-way stretch, great shape retention and fast dry. The ultra high waist offers a controlled fit and keep the belly tucked in.

CONS / As much as I like high waisted leggings, this one is too high for me. It covers all the way up to my lower ribs and folds down easily.

BOTTOM LINE / I love the "naked sensation" of Beyond Yoga Olympus High Waisted Midi Legging. The fabric offers everything I need from yoga to gym workouts. While the high waist provides tons of support and coverage for the midsection, it's too high for my taste; nonetheless, it is still one of my go-to leggings.

PROS / Lululemon WU HR Tight in Luminosity Foil Print Black Black is a slick yet high performance legging. It is made with the high compression Full-On Luxtreme fabric. It is four-way stretch and sweat wicking. It provides great breathability and helps me stay cool during practice. The flat waistband is comfortable and keeps everything tucked in.

CONS / It is too long for my height (5'2"). Unless I wear the legging over the heel or I have to be ok with the extra fabric gathering around the ankle. Even though Lululemon offers free hemming service, I feel it changes the look of the legging and ends up fitting loose at the ankle. 

BOTTOM LINE / Lululemon WU HR Tight in Luminosity Foil Print Black Black is my favorite shine, shimmering legging. Not only does it give a flattering look, but it also covers needs (performance wise) for yoga and gym workouts. I really like how it hugs my body with the flat waistband keeping everything tucked in. 

PROS / Athleta Elation Shimmer Tight is made with one of my favorite materials, Powertiva, with a shimmering finish. It is buttery soft, four-way stretch, breathable and moisture wicking. The medium compression fabric provides a gentle hug and the high waist keeps everything tucked in.

CONS / The tight runs big and the inseam is too long for me even the petite size. The shimmering finish is prone to VPL. In addition, it leaves embarrassing sweat spots. 

BOTTOM LINE / Athleta Elation Shimmer Tight is a high performance yet stylish legging. There is no doubt that Powervita covers all the needs for yoga and gym workouts. It would have been perfect if it doesn't leave sweat spots. For a true size fit, do size down; however, it is more likely to show VPL.
