I am going to share something slightly different to what I normally post today. Last week, Lululemon introduced New Curved Waistband for Always On High-Rise Tight 28". It makes me wonder if that is going to be the new trend after the high / ultra high waist leggings. Five years ago, high waist leggings became popular. Almost everyone I know loves the coverage and support they provide. I rarely see people wearing standard waist leggings in yoga world today. In fact, I am a big lover of high waist leggings. I am definitely seeing more V-shaped Waistband or Curved Waistband leggings in the market these days. The first one that caught my attention is Beach Riot Cara Legging, which I believe was released last year (but I could be wrong). I thought that was just the style designed by Beach Riot. For that reason, I didn't put too much thought into it until I saw Lululemon brought the Curved Waistband to the market last week followed by Glyder. I did some research and found quite a few brands making similar style leggings. Since they are still new to me and I haven't had chance to test any out, I don't know if I am going to like them more than high waist leggings. That said, I still want to share what brands are making v-shaped / curved waistband leggings today. Note: The following leggings are sorted by their prices (high to low). No 1. Lululemon Always On High-Rise Tight 28", $118No 2. Athleta Chroma 7/8 Tight in Powervita, $98No 3. Beach Riot Cara Legging, $98No 4. Glyder Crossover Legging, $78No 5. Fabletics Winn Ii Heathered 7/8, $74.95No 6. Core 10 'Build Your Own' Yoga Pant (Cross Waist), $44Among these leggings, I am interested in Core 10 'Build You Own' Yoga Pant the most because I've never tried the brand. Moreover, it is highly rated and the price is right. If you own any of the leggings mentioned above, I'd love to hear from you.
