Overall Rating - 8.5 / 10
PROS / Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate is made with the exceptional soft Poly-Lycra blend fabric. It is super stretchy, fast dry and moisture wicking. The flat waistband sits up to the navel which keeps everything tucked in with a sinfully comfortable fit.
CONS / I am disappointed by the metallic printing pattern. It is basically glitter. It falls off the fabric easily and sticks on the skin. I also can't wash it with any other garnet or the glitter will be all over other clothes. Even though the front and back rises are made with flatlocking seams, the inseams are overlocking seams. BOTTOM LINE / While I like the silky soft performance fabric of Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate, I don't like the glittery metallic printing at all. It gets on everything in touch with, including the skin. I would not be surprised if the pattern fades away over time. On the flip side, it is comfortable and the elastic-free waistband provides great coverage and support for the stomach. About Liquido Active Om Collection -

If you pay enough attention to her outfit, she usually wears a sport bra with a short from Liquido Active. Occasionally, she wears a full length legging, which is also from Liquido. Since I started following her few years ago, I've not seen her wearing any yoga wear from other brands besides Liquido. Two years ago, Kino launched OmStars and partnered with Liquido to release a line designed by her, including Om Leggings. One major difference I notice is that the front and back rises of Om Leggings are flatlocking seams, while regular Liquido patterned leggings are constructed with overlocking seams throughout. As much as I like their patterned leggings (super stretchy and perfect for yoga), its construction (overlocking seams) keeps me from investing more of their pants. Since Om Leggings are partially sewn together with flatlocking seams, I decide to give it a shot. Here comes this week's review of Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate. Details of Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate -
The legging is made in Brazil. Performance - Liquido leggings are one of my favorite yoga pants because of their silky soft and stretchy fabric. Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate is no exception. Unlike my old Liquido patterned leggings which are medium low compression, this one has high compression and provides more muscles support. It is more suitable for high impact workouts than Liquido Patterned Leggings. The waistband stays in place with movement. Even though it is only 3.25" wide, the high rise style offers lots of coverage and support for the stomach. I really like how the legging hugs my lower body. I feel secured and covered during my workouts. Quality - The base material is good qualify and high performance. It is completely opaque. However, the metallic printing is otherwise. You can see the color differences before and after wash in the pictures below. The printing is glittery and easily falls off the pant. I turn the legging inside out when doing laundry, but the glitter still gets on to other clothes. I end up re-washing those clothes to get rid of the glitter. The instruction says to hand wash the legging, but who actually hand wash the activewear? Not me for sure. What annoys me the most is that the glitter also gets on the skin because there is also some glitter on the inner side of the legging. Different to Liquido Patterned Leggings, the front and back rises of the Om Legging Celebrate are constructed with flatlocking seams instead of overlocking seams. I personally like the flatlocking seams especially for the back rise because overlocking seams tend to show the sign of stitches being stretched up. It is even worse when doing squat, bending over in standing forward fold and downward facing dog. With that said, the inseams are still overlocking seams and the gusset is missing. Fit - It is true to size. In the past, the smallest size available in US is S, which fits me but it's not a snug fit. I am glad that there is XS now. It gives me a more compression fit. I also notice that the front rise is higher than Liquido Patterned Leggings, which provides more coverage and support. The width of the waistband isn't as wide as Liquid Wide Waistband Patterned Legging, but it hugs better and provides more support. Overall, it is flattering. It creates a leggy look. Due to the extra long inseam, I can wear it over the heel creating an elongation illusion. Even so, it doesn't lift the butt as nicely as others, e.g., Niyama Sol Leggings. Comfort - The silky soft Poly-Lycra blend fabric is comfortable and super elastic. Not only is the flat waistband pinch-free, it also keeps everything tucked in. I purchase Liquido Leggings mainly for their comfort and of course for its performance too.
I love almost everything about Liquido Active Om Legging Celebrate. The material is four-way stretch, breathable and fast dry. It provides the perfect compression for muscles support. The elastic-free high waistband is comfortable and no pinch. It also stays in place with movement. One major downfall is the quality. The metallic printing pattern is glittery. It is not long lasting and easily falling off (making a mess). As much as I like to wear it for yoga, I really hate to deal with the glitter on my skin afterward.
