PROS / prAna Serafine Legging is made with the sustainable hemp and cotton fabric, which is soft and breathable. I love the design of leg cuffs with convertible stirrups to avoid the fabric from pilling when wearing the legging over the heel.

CONS / The legging is not flattering on me. The material is thicker than I like to wear for working out. Although it is quite breathable, it doesn't seem to dry fast enough for hot and sweaty yoga.

BOTTOM LINE / There are many things to like about prAna Serafine Legging, including the sustainable fabric (hemp + cotton) and great breathability. I don't mind the thick fabric as I can wear it when teaching or home practicing in winter, even though it's not ideal for hot yoga and high impact gym workouts. To me, the fit is the main deal breaker. It isn't a snug fit and the inseam is too long.
Note: Since I returned the legging, I am not going to provide the full review as usual today.

Last week (Memorial weekend), prAna offered extra 10% off the Influencer Discount (50%), total 60% off the retail price. I couldn't help but ordered lots of items to take advantage of the great deal. This Serafina Legging and the Becksa Bralette are two of the items I ordered. With so many positive reviews of the legging, I had to give it a try, especially I've never experienced hemp fabric in the past. While there are many good things about this legging, I decided to return it because of the fit. On the other hand, I love the Becksa Bralette, and I ended up getting multiple colors. Anyway, let's take a look of prAna Serafine Legging.

1. Size – It is true to size and I wear an XS. I am Lululemon size 4.

2. Style – Full length stirrups legging.

3. Inseam –  28-7/8" long.

4. Front Rise – 10" high rise.

5. Waistband – 4" wide with an 1/2" encased elastic band and a stash pocket.

6. Fabric – 53% Hemp, 42% Organic Cotton and 5% Spandex. The fabric is medium low compression and it's thicker than most of the leggings I own.

7. Design for – I suggest it for non-heated and gentle yoga as well as casual wear.

8. Cost – Retail price is $89. I paid $44.5 + tax.

9. Stitch Seam – Flatlocking seams.

10. Crotch Seam
 – Lined triangle gusset.

The legging is made in Vietnam.

Performance -
Since I didn't try the legging for any exercise, I am not able to provide feedback here. With that said, the fabric is pretty thick and it may not be the best choice for sweaty workouts, including hot yoga. It doesn't strike me as a fast dry legging; however, it is very breathable. Sweat stains may be noticeable especially for the non-pattern one, i.e., the color charcoal (available on prAna). The legging is medium low compression. It doesn't provide much muscles support and body hug; therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for intensive exercises.

Quality -
The soft hemp and cotton blend fabric is 100% opaque. The legging is well made, constructed with flatlocking seams. There is a lined gusset for reinforcement. Since I only tried it on for a short period of time to take some photos, I don't know if the color is long lasting or the fabric is pilling resistant.

Fit -
It is true to size. Though the XS fits me, I wouldn't mind for a more compression fit along the legs. On that note, I struggle a little when pulling it up passing the hip. Once I have the legging on, it hugs my body well. Surprisingly, the elastic band doesn't dig or pinch my waist. I don't normally like the elastic band. It tends to be problematic for me. It either pinches the skin or lacks of elasticity to get through the hip.

prAna Serafine Legging creates a leggy look, but it felt short on shaping the butt. Also, the legging is too long for me (I'm 5'2"). There should be some fabric bunching at the ankle by design, but there is too much on me. It looks like a big puff around the ankle. Due to the less than ideal fit, I decided to return the legging.

Comfort -
The fabric is soft and breathable. Even though the elastic band doesn't pinch the skin, I can feel its existence, which is not as comfortable as the flat waistband. I wouldn't be surprised if it leaves the indentation mark after wearing it for an hour or so.

prAna Serafine Legging is cute and comfortable. Made with sustainable hemp and cotton, the fabric is soft, stretchy and breathable; however, it doesn't seem to be fast dry. I would have kept the legging if it's a better fit on me. The inseam is too long (I am 5'2") with lots of fabric bunching at the ankle. Due to the thick and medium low compression fabric, I suggest it for gentle yoga and casual wear instead of intensive exercises, such as power vinyasa and high impact workouts.

prAna Pillar Legging is a very cozy piece. While it is breathable and sweat wicking which helps me stay cool in a sweaty class, it also keeps me warm in cold weather. The mid rise style offers decent coverage for the midsection. The legging is flattering and creates a leggy look.

Funky Simplicity Grey Cactus Legging is breathable and stretchy. The waistband is comfortable but lacks coverage. It is a great legging for gentle yoga and daily wear; however, it is not ideal for heated yoga and high sweat gym workouts (not moisture wicking).
