Overall Rating - 9.5 / 10
PROS / SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging is made with the buttery soft fabric that is four-way stretch, breathable, sweat wicking and fast dry. The legging is flattering on me with vibrant patterns hand drawn and painted by Malaysia Batik artists.
CONS / The waistband sits too high on me (above my waistline). As a result, it curls/folds down with movement.
BOTTOM LINE / SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging is one of the most economical leggings. It covers all the needs for yoga, gym workouts and more. The buttery soft fabric is similar to Lululemon Nulux, but costs less than half of the price. The legging is cute and flattering. I highly recommend.

Fit Rebel was founded by Nadia Hasbi, a MBA graduate from Manchester Business School in the UK. She started venturing in women’s activewear in July 2013. Prior to founding Fit Rebel, Nadia brought in Liquido, one of my favorite brands, to Malaysia during her residency in Sao Paulo, Brazil for her former job. In 2016, she launched SENI by Fit Rebel with an intention to encourage women to live in more active lifestyles. According to the research, fun workouts and attractive activewear motivate women to go for their next workout and to enjoy their exercises more. Well, I I am the perfect example. Being able to share my cute leggings here and wear them to the gym and studio keep me stay active.
SENI means "art" in Bahasa Malaysia. All designs from SENI by Fit Rebel were hand drawn and painted by traditional batik artists of Malaysia. "Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, or cloth made using this technique originated from Indonesia." This traditional painting technique can be traced as far back to the 13th century. You can check out Wikipedia andThe Batik Guide to learn more. By the way, proceeds from the sale of SENI by Fit Rebel go back to the artistic communities to support and preserve this traditional craft.
Details of SENI Edgy Peacock Design Legging -
I didn't know Fit Rebel until Nadia reached out to me couple months ago. She asked me for collaboration to review SENI by Fit Rebel. She wanted my honest feedback about their leggings rather than purely "advertisement." I appreciate the ways she runs the business, open to constructive feedback, give back to the community and inspire women to start or maintain their fitness journey. After quite a few emails exchange with Nadia, I find her very inspiring and empowering. She truly cares about her passion, her business, and I want to give her my support.
Let's take a look of SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging. Even though the legging was gifted to me, all the feedback are my own.
The legging is designed in Malaysia and made in China.
SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging covers all performance needs for yoga and tabata, two main activities I do. The fabric is buttery soft, similar to Lululemon Nulux, and it's four-way stretch, breathable, moisture wicking and fast dry. Just like Lululemon Nulux, it offers the naked sensation and it is medium low compression, which some people may find it less perfect for high impact activities; however, it works for exercises I do just fine.
I can't be more than happy with its quality. The fabric is surprisingly soft and the print is so vivid. The legging is constructed with comfortable flatlocking seams and there is a lined gusset. Most importantly, it is 100% opaque.
The sizing is close to Liquido. The smallest size available is small, which fits perfect on me. I am Lululemon size 4. If you are Lululemon size 2, the legging is probably too big for you. Although the waistband is only 3" wide, the legging is a high rise fit. The waistband sits slightly above my navel (waistline) and curls/folds down occasionally with movement. Some prints come with low rise style, but not the Edgy Peacock. I wonder if that would be a better fit on me with a shorter front rise. I have my eyes on SENI Selina Print - Dragonfly Design - Low Rise. Too bad that my size has sold out.
SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging is super cute and flattering. I had two students asking me where I got the legging the first time I wore it to the class. As I mentioned earlier, the legging is medium low compression. Therefore, it doesn't lift the bum as nicely as high compression ones. That said, it enhances body curvatures well or I wouldn't have students complimenting it (me).
The buttery soft, medium low compression fabric makes the legging super comfortable. I wear it everywhere from workouts, running errands to lounging at home. Although there is an encased elastic band on the waistband, it doesn't cause discomfort, nor does it dig into the skin. It's difficult to describe how comfortable it is unless you try it on yourself.
SENI by Fit Rebel Edgy Peacock Design Legging is one of the best economical leggings I've ever tried. The fabric feels and performs just like Lululemon Nulux, but costs less than half of it. The legging is also very flattering. The edgy peacock pattern, hand drawn and painted by traditional Batik artists, is unique and vibrant. If I have to pick on something, I'd suggest to get rid of the encased elastic band and maybe shorten the front rise by a quarter inch or so.
