PROS / Yoga Democracy Misss-Behave Yoga Crop is made with sleek RPET and Lycra fabric. It is four-way stretch, breathable, fast dry and moisture wicking. It is also UVA/UVB protective. The flat waistband provides great support and coverage for the midsection.

CONS / Since the fabric is quite slippery, the waistband doesn't stay up during workout.

BOTTOM LINE / Yoga Democracy Misss-Behave Yoga Crop covers all the needs for yoga as well as gym workouts. It is stylish and high performance. Though the waistband slides down with movement, it does offer great comfort and coverage. For $70, it definitely worth every penny.

Yoga Democracy, an eco-friendly athletic wear company, was founded by Natalie Oldroyd in 2015 to offer a sustainable activewear alternative. Oldroyd started out blogging on issues related to sustainable clothing manufacturing before launching the company. The idea behind Yoga Democracy was to find a safer way of making clothing without compromising on quality, style or ethics.

Yoga Democracy makes their products in house at the workshop located in Cave Creek, Arizona. They aim to produce 95% of their products using recycled fibers with a low water impact in the production. The manufacturing process is almost 100% vertically integrated from design to dyeing to sewing to order fulfillment; all carried out under one roof. The tight supply chain allows Yoga Democracy to keep carbon footprint small and waste to a minimum while connecting makers directly to the customers who wear the product.

Yoga Democracy is a popular activewear brand in the yoga community. They are known for being an eco-friendly athleisure, designing unique and fun prints yoga pants, and making high quality products. I met Yoga Democracy early last year when seeing their leggings in the studio where I practiced. I was skeptical about the material. It felt plasticky to me. For that reason, I didn't own their leggings until last December. Since I kept seeing positive reviews from others, I decided to give it a try. I ordered Misss-Behave Yoga Crop during holiday sales. Let's see whether the legging is as good as reviews say.

1. Size – It is true to size. I wear an XS. For your reference, I am Lululemon size 4.

2. Style – Crop.

3. Inseam – 21.5" long. It sits right below the calf muscles, which is the perfect length for me (I am 5'2").

4. Front Rise – 10.5" high rise.

5. Waistband – 4.75" flat waistband, which is no dig and pinch-free.

6. Fabric – 78% Recycled Polyester and 22% Lycra.

7. Design for – Any exercise including yoga and high impact workouts.

8. Cost – Retail price is $70. I purchased it during holiday season at 30% discount, same % as the Pro Program.

9. Stitch Seam – Flatlocking seams.

10. Crotch Seam – Lined triangle gusset.

The crop is made in USA. The material and care instruction are printed on the waistband (inner side).

Performance -
I can't be more than happy on how fast Yoga Democracy Misss-Behave Yoga Crop dries. It keeps me stay cool and dry during my workout. The fabric is four-way stretch allowing ranges of motion. It also provides decent breathability. For sure, it covers all the needs for yoga and more.

Quality -
Compared to Niyama Sol, which is also made with RPET, Misss-Behave Yoga Crop is completely opaque, whereas Niyama Sol can be see-through depending on the color of panty I wear. As expected for a quality legging, it does have flatlocking seams and the lined gusset. After several washes, the crpo is holding up well. I do not see any sign of pilling or discoloration.

Fit -
After reading reviews from others, I decided to go with my normal size, XS. I am glad I did. It hugs me nicely and provides perfect amount of compression (high compression in my opinion). It also shapes my body well. The flat and wide waistband is comfortable and offers great coverage. The only downside is that the waistband doesn't stay put. Similar to Lululemon WU HR Tight Nulux, the waistband slips a little. Although it can be frustrated, it is not a deal breaker for me.

Comfort -
I like the high waisted style, and this one is perfect. The flat waistband is comfortable and pinch-free. The materials is sleek and soft. I have no problem to wear it all the long.

I am glad that I gave Yoga Democracy a chance. Misss-Behave Yoga Crop has become one of my favorites. It covers all the needs for yoga and more, including four-way stretch, moisture wicking, fast dry, comfort and flattering fit. Moreover, it is made with recycled polyester and reasonably priced.
